Over the latter part of the summer, I concentrated on working with Still Life and flower paintings. On the walls of the studio were the collection of nudes finished before I left for Greece in July. Inevitably, the two intersected as they have in this painting. In the foreground, a still life with some flowers, and on the wall behind it, the painting of "Summer, 2018" which you can see under the heading of Recent Works, Nudes. It is the first image to appear on the screen.
